Finis Tatum IV

Finis Tatum IV focuses his practice in the area of business enterprises. Specifically, he advises and represents clients in all aspects of creditor-debtor relationships, including: financing, collection, loan workouts, mortgage foreclosure, litigation, and bankruptcy. Finis also practices in the areas of personal injury, family law, and criminal law.
Prior to joining Foley & Abbott, Finis served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Randall T. Shepard, Chief Justice of Indiana. His clerkship experience uniquely qualifies him to pursue and defend civil and criminal appeals.
Finis is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana, and also the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History at Purdue University. As an undergraduate student, Finis competed in collegiate athletics and was a member of the 2001 Purdue Football Rose Bowl Team. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree at Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis. During law school, Finis served as President of the Black Law Students Association and was a student representative of the Faulty Recruitment and Diversity Committees.
Finis is a member of the American, Hamilton County, and Marion County Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Corporate Fundraising Committee for the Indianapolis Zoo and Neighbors Organized to Assist Humanity, Inc.
